Award Winners Announced
at Electrocoat 2002
● Winners of the George E.F. Brewer
award and best end-user paper
award were announced at Electrocoat
2002. The three Brewer award winners
were Kevin Cunningham,
General Motors Corporation, for his
contributions and service to the
development and application of electrocoating
technology; Roger Kelly,
retired from PPG pretreatment and
specialty products, for his contributions
and service to the technological
development of electrocoating; and the
late Mark McQuaide, Eisenmann
Corporation, in recognition of his contributions
and service to the market
promotion of electrocoating technology.
Best end-user paper award recipients
were Kevin O’Brien, Midwest
Products, for “An Operational
Comparison of Square Transfer and
Electrocoating Systems;” Christopher
Kankiewicz, Whiting Door
Manufacturing Corporation, for
“Maintenance and Preventative
Maintenance For a Productive
Electrocoating Process” and Joseph
Phoenix, Shiloh Industries, for
“Environmental Compliance Requirements
For Electrodeposition Paint
Processes.”
